Sales of midi-length dresses soar as the Christmas party season approaches ... and even TOWIE stars are lowering their hemlines for a more demure look

With Celebration encourages on the up and temperature ranges losing, revenue of more time, midi-length outfits are increasing.
Fewer women are selecting thigh-revealing designs than ever before, as the pattern towards more time hemlines carries on.
Sales of some midi designs are up as much as 168 % in contrast to Nov last year at standard store Debenhams.

Managers have performed analysis among clients and estimate that hemlines are set to drop further still, with superstars like Victoria Beckham and Anne Holmes major the design package by wearing styles that complete between below the joint and the rearfoot.

Even the more erotic superstars like Anne Cost and the throw of ITV’s The Only Way Is London - who once was adament on small outfits and outfits even in sub zero temperature ranges - have followed the new pattern and are testing with the moderate pattern.

A Debenhams spokesperson said: 'We are coming into an age of cover-up. Hemlines are falling to below the joint as females go for a sophisticated look motivated by TV reveals such as Mad Men.
'British females are wearing for austerity, and that indicates dresses have become dangerous serious - as females have a midi-moment.'

Pen dresses, pleated dresses, and flared dresses, all of which are joint duration or more time, have almost taken the small dress away for females in their mid 20s.
The study exposed that females now wish a more time, below-the-knee dress to make a better, more expert impact at work, and also want something that can be used on both official and casual events - preserving them cash.
And stylish, figure-hugging pencil dresses, motivated by Nineteen fifties style designs and tv programs such as Mad Men, are now the most well-known style on the standard.

With over 500, 000 outfits marketed in the run-up to Xmas at Debenhams alone, small designs are still well-known with youngsters and ladies in their early 20s.

But once females arrive at 25, it seems they are selecting the more innovative, traditional 'midi' look.

Earlier research by the standard store revealed that many females still used short small designs until they were 45-years-old.

Celebrities like Elle McPherson and Debbie Jessica Parker are among mature females who happily revealed off ripped hooks.

The spokesperson added: 'There is no question that we are seeing much less skin being revealed on the normal English standard.

'A glance of storing has certainly become a subject put to rest.

'However, we still believe that the small dress is simply too highly effective a fashion symbol to vanish entirely.

'They are still greatly well-known - especially with our young client - and we completely anticipate hemlines to increase again in the long run.'
